OUTBOUND CALLS
All our customers’ outbound call traffic is now managed via a system known as ‘Carrier Pre Select’ (CPS). This eliminates the need for any onsite equipment or configuration as everything is carried out by BT at the local exchange.
How does it work?
You make your call in the usual way, with no need for ‘smart boxes’, and no prefixes to dial. This prevents calls slipping back to your line provider, as often occurred when a prefix was forgotten, or a ‘smart box’ just not quick enough to reset from call to call. We want you to benefit from our lowest ever prices on all your calls. The call is then routed to our networks and delivered to your caller in just the same way as with British Telecom.
